Acceptance
By installing and using Cedra you accept these terms. If you don't agree, uninstall the app.
What Cedra is
Cedra is a multi-source media client that plays content from sources YOU configure. It does not host, distribute, or curate content. It is a player + library tool — like VLC + a media library — for content you already have legitimate access to.
Content responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content sources you configure. Specifically:
- You confirm you have the legal right to access every Xtream / M3U / FTP / WebDAV / Put.io / RealDebrid source you add to the app.
- You will not use Cedra to access pirated, copyright-infringing, or otherwise illegal content.
- Cedra's developers are not party to any agreement between you and your provider; we don't validate licensing.
If you don't have rights to a source's content, do not configure it.
Premium subscriptions
- Premium tiers are processed via Google Play Billing. Payment terms, refunds, and renewal cancellation follow Google Play's standard policies.
- Premium features unlock optional extras such as multi-profile, themes, folders, Cast, and smart downloads. The feature list at purchase time is the canonical reference.
- Family plan = Google Play Family Library membership. It does NOT create named profiles on a backend (Cedra has no backend); it unlocks premium for every Family Library member's individual install.
Disclaimers
- Cedra is provided "as-is". We make no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, including playback compatibility with any specific source or codec.
- Stream URLs depend on third-party providers we don't control. If your provider goes offline, your subscription, or changes their API, the app may stop working with that source.
- Metadata enrichment currently depends on TMDB, and user-triggered subtitle lookup can depend on OpenSubtitles. Outages or API changes can degrade those features. Although an OMDb client can be operator-configured, Cedra does not currently call it at runtime.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cedra's developers disclaim all liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app — including loss of data, loss of service, or any third-party legal action stemming from your configured sources.
Your maximum aggregate recovery under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for premium in the previous 12 months (zero for free-tier users).
Termination
We may terminate access to premium features if you violate these terms (e.g. attempt to circumvent the entitlement gates). The local app continues to function with free-tier features.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where you installed the app, per Google Play's territory rules.
